Blood Money

Notorious Feud
You've just inherited The Real McCoy's BBQ, once owned by your distant relative, Howell McCoy. But the Hatfield family is claiming it as theirs, and the deed is missing. During Prohibition, this BBQ joint was more than famous for its pork, it was also a front for bootlegging. Years ago, Howell vanished after a massive shootout with the Hatfields.
The Mission
Now, the secrets of Howell's hidden wealth and the missing deed are buried within the BBQ joint. Can you uncover them before the Hatfields do, or will the feud claim another victim?

WOW! Just left Clue Clock after a great experience with my mom and siblings, and we quite literally can’t stop talking about it! We did the “Blood Money” room and the whole experience was amazing. The game master Joanna was incredibly attentive, gently steering us away when we were maybe focusing too hard on the wrong thing, and even turning the music down one time when a member of our party remarked that it was too loud for her. After completing the room, Joanna answered all of our questions and walked us through some of the things we had been a bit shakey on Our group sped through it kind of fast, but it never felt too easy, at no point was anyone in our party bored or left out, and we loved that completing the room depended on all of us working together, sometimes on multiple things at once. My brother hadn’t even wanted to come originally, and I think he probably had the most fun out of all of us! Easily in the top 3 best escape room experiences for our group (straight up #1 for my own personal ranking 😉) We’re already planning our next visit, and can’t wait to try the “10 Days In A Mad House room next!” Thank you!

Wow! What an exciting time! Alex was an amazing game master. Our group did all 4 escape rooms. Blood money and Denver bank heist was the favorites! Fun time and was able to beat all 4 rooms!

ClueClock was a great escape room experience! Lots of complicated, multi-step puzzles of varying difficulties so each person in our group was able to contribute. We needed hints to escape, but with each one we were SO close and on the right track. I would love to go again and see if we could solve another room completely on our own. Really well thought out and designed escape room! Editing to add I have now done a second room. The first was Blood Money, and the second was the Alien one. This time I went with my husband, and it was a great outing for a date. Again, we were close but not able to get through without hints! I was wondering with the alien room being ranked as easier than the Blood Money room, and being a single room, if I would enjoy it as much. The answer is a resounding yes! I still found it challenging and highly entertaining! Our hostess this time was Madi, and she was fantastic, offering small hints with the perfect timing - just when we were feeling completely stalled out. ClueClock Escape is so well done. I'm very eager to get back and try the next room with another friend!!

Our family had a great time at ClueClock! We completed the Blood Money escape room which was just challenging enough to keep you going but also stump you! Staff were very kind and entertaining! Would come back again!

We had so much fun as a family of 4!! Our boys were 13 and 9 and we did the Blood Money room. It was harder than I expected but in a good way. We all were able to participate together. Staff was great! Friendly and helpful. I also loved that we had our own private rooms to play and didn’t have to team up with someone we didn’t know. Great family event!

I have been here two times on a double date AND had the wonderful hostess Joanna both times. She is AMAZING always so funny and welcoming — she also actually recognized us coming back? THAT’S good customer service right there! The rooms are fun and make you think, but don’t feel so hard where you’re frustrated, they’re perfect! Ive done Blood Money, then did 10 days in a mad house on the 31st, plan on coming back for Alien Escape! Definitely recommend coming here!

Lucy was an amazing escape guide! The game itself was very creative and a ton of fun too. Definitely recommend Blood Money. I loved the use of props and getting to move through multiple rooms in order to complete the challenge. Thank you Lucy!
Elle Gray -
We (a team of 2) had a great time here! We did the Blood Money room and it definitely challenged us. Made it to the last puzzle but when it was explained to us, it would have taken a lot of figuring out. We will be coming back to do the other 2 rooms and we were informed that they're adding a fourth room next month. Highly recommend!

Common Questions About Blood Money

Rated 4 out of 5. Challenging enough to keep experienced players engaged, accessible enough that confident first-timers can solve it with hints. Sits between Bank Heist at 3 out of 5 and Madhouse at 5 out of 5.
Sweet spot is 4 to 6 players. Blood Money has the most multi-room layout of our escape rooms, so larger groups can split up and cover more ground. Two-player teams can complete it but at a slower pace.
Family-friendly. The Prohibition-era theme is more family-feud-and-treasure-hunt than horror. We recommend ages 10 and up to enjoy the puzzles fully.
A mix of physical search puzzles, period props, ciphers, and hidden compartments. Blood Money has the most multi-room layout of any room here, so expect to move around a lot.
Your game master watches the whole game and drops hints whenever you need them. Ask for one anytime, no penalty. Our goal is fun, not punishment.
Plan for 90 minutes total: 15 minutes for arrival and mission briefing, 60 minutes in the room, then a group photo and a quick recap with your game master.
Most teams escape on the first try with well-timed hints. The 4 out of 5 difficulty means hints are common, but the escape rate at the buzzer is solid.
Yes. Every Castle Pines escape room booking at ClueClock is 100% private, even for a two-player party. We never combine groups with strangers.
